Educational Qualification

The eligibility depends on the role:

AAO Generalist: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
AAO Specialist:
- CA: Chartered Accountant with ICAI membership.
- CS: Company Secretary with ICSI membership.
- Actuarial: Passed 6 papers in actuarial exams (India or UK).
- Insurance Specialist: Fellowship in Life Insurance plus work experience.
- Legal: LLB with at least 50% marks and enrollment with the Bar Council.
AE (Civil/Electrical): B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years’ experience in construction of multi-storied buildings.

Selection Process

The LIC AAO & AE selection will take place in four stages:

Preliminary Exam – An online objective test.
Mains Exam – Includes both objective and descriptive questions.

Important Note: Marks from the Preliminary Exam are only for qualifying. The final merit list will be prepared based on the Mains Exam + Interview scores.
